Prepare Your Vehicle for Summer Travel
Rising temperatures and longer days can only mean one thing—summer is finally here! Before you head out the door for an adventure, though, it’s a wise idea to prepare your vehicle for the months ahead. In addition to having routine maintenance performed, you might also want to consider giving the interior a thorough cleaning to eliminate germs and adding a few components to help maximize your car’s potential. Preventative Service
With warmer weather on its way, it’s important to have a vehicle that’s in exceptional condition and ready for whatever lies ahead. Otherwise, you might end up experiencing mechanical difficulties when you’re just trying to relax. So, we invite you to bring your car, truck, or SUV over to our Service Department for an oil change, battery inspection, brake examination, and tire rotation. While you’re here, you might also want to replace the cabin air filter and have the climate control system looked over, as these two components work together to keep your interior cool, comfortable, and full of fresh air. That way, when you’re on your way to Ed Lisenby Lake or Kidzone at Steagall Park, you won’t have to stress.
Clean the Cabin
After contending with the trials of winter and even spring, your vehicle’s interior could be a little worse for the wear. For this reason, we recommend taking the time to perform some deep cleaning, especially if you plan on driving with passengers on a regular basis. After you remove any belongings or trash, vacuum the carpets and seats to ensure that they’re free of crumbs and dirt. Then, using either sanitizing wipes or a mixture of soap and water, wipe down any surfaces that experience a lot of traffic, as these areas are prime breeding grounds for germs and bacteria. After disinfecting the steering wheel, cupholders, radio dials, door handles, and other places that get touched frequently, you’ll be ready to bring friends and family out for a picnic at Sam Dale Park.

Given that summer includes the prime vacation months, it might be a good time to add some additional accessories to your ride that help you take full advantage of its potential.
