The 2017 F-150 Trim Levels

The 2017 Ford F-150 is available in six specific trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. In addition to these trim levels, there are a variety of packages you can equip to your F-150 which give you even more features and amenities.

When it comes to engine choices, drivers have several options. First of all, there’s a 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 282 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque. You can also choose a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 that produces 325 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque. Next up is a 5.0-liter V8 that generates 385 hp and 387 lb-ft of torque. There’s even a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque as well.

The base XL trim level offers a driver information display, 60/40-split folding rear seats, vinyl flooring, 17-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, trailer sway control, automatic headlights, and more. The optional 101A package gets you a CD player, Sync voice controls, Ford’s MyKey vehicle control, remote locking and unlocking, power windows and locks, a USB port, Bluetooth®*, and smartphone app integration.

The XLT gains the 101A package, rear privacy glass, four-way adjustable headrests, a keypad entry system, fog lights, alloy wheels, and more. Drivers can choose to equip the XLT with a variety of packages including the Mid 301A package and the Luxury 302A package. The Mid 301A package provides a rearview camera, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat with power lumbar adjustment, heated mirrors, power-adjustable pedals, satellite radio, a seven-speaker sound system, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Luxury 302A package adds LED bed lighting, an 8-inch touchscreen, a 110-volt power outlet, a panoramic sunroof, rear cross-traffic alert, a navigation system, blind-spot monitoring, heated front seats, and more.

The Lariat comes with keyless entry and ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, an 8-inch driver information display, power-folding mirrors, and driver-seat memory settings. Several packages can be added to the Lariat as well.

When it comes to the King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited top trim levels, these trims get you some of the previously mentioned packages, features, and more. No matter which trim you choose, you’re certain to enjoy your experience with the Ford F-150.
