Power & Economy

Given the Ford Ranger’s exceptional capabilities, we couldn’t fail to mention how it stacks up against the 2021 Toyota Tacoma in this respect. While the latter’s standard 2.7L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder system only delivers 159-hp and 180 lb.-ft. of torque, the former has a standard 2.3L EcoBoost® 4-cylinder powertrain that pumps out 270-hp and 310 lb.-ft. of torque without hesitation.
