If you’ve been waiting years for the Bronco to return to the Ford lineup, the moment is finally here! After an extended hiatus, this rugged SUV will be making its debut for the 2021 model year, and people are already buzzing about what it has to offer. So, to help bring you up to speed, the staff at Gilland Ford has compiled a brief overview of what it brings to the table.

Amenities

Whether you plan on hitting the trails or not, the 2021 Bronco is an absolute treat to travel in. Thanks to the seven different trim levels at your disposal, choosing a model with your preferred blend of comfort and utility won’t be a challenge. With the base trim, you’ll get to enjoy the drive in a 6-way manual driver’s seat with cloth upholstery, so nothing spoils your trip to Johnny Henderson Family Park. That being said, if you’re seeking the finer things in life and want to stay cozy regardless of the conditions that lie ahead, then the Bronco Badlands and its standard heated front seats are sure to please. This trim also comes standard with dual-zone automatic climate control, so you and your copilot don’t have to compromise when it comes to the temperature.

Technology

In addition to keeping you comfortable, the interior of the 2021 Ford Bronco is packed with many of the latest tech features. If you’re out in the wild conquering untamed paths, you can still stay in touch with your loved ones via standard Apple CarPlay®1 and Android Auto™2. As if that weren’t enough, these features are accessible from the 8-inch SYNC® 4 media hub, which means you can also take advantage of such features as FordPass™3 and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio4, among others. For enhanced capabilities, we suggest going with the Bronco First Edition to explore what its 12-inch touchscreen and navigation system have to offer. For good measure, this trim also has a 10-speaker premium sound setup.

Performance

We’d be remiss if we failed to cover the Ford Bronco’s capabilities, so let’s see what’s under the hood. First, we have the standard 2.3L EcoBoost® 4-cylinder powertrain, which is capable of arming you with a considerable 270-hp and 310 lb.-ft. of torque while working in tandem with either a 7-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission. If levels like these don’t quite get your heart racing, then perhaps the 310-hp and 400 lb.-ft. of torque produced by the available 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 powertrain will get your attention. Along with these two engine options, you’ll also have a wide array of components to choose from, including available Advanced 4x4 with Automatic On-Demand Engagement and high-clearance suspension.
