What Is the Fuel Economy of the 2020 Edge?

Naturally, we couldn’t compare the Ford Edge and Honda Passport without calling attention to their inner mechanics. Starting out, the two are closely matched, with the former’s 2.3L EcoBoost® engine delivering 250-hp and 280 lb.-ft. of torque to the latter’s 280-hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque cranked out by its 3.5L V6 system. However, while the model from Ford manages to produce this brawn at a healthy 21/29 MPG city/hwy5, the Passport doesn’t quite make the grade with its fuel economy rating of 20/25 MPG city/hwy6. To make matters worse for the Honda, it only comes with one powertrain option, in comparison to the Edge and its available 2.7L EcoBoost® system that substantially raises the stakes with an electrifying 335-hp and 380 lb.-ft. of torque.
